Starring a young John Cusack and Demi Moore, this movie tells the story of Hoops McCann (John Cusack), a cartoonist fresh out of high school who's trying to get into art school. In an effort to help him clear his head, Hoops' high school buddy, George, invites him to spend summer with him at his grandparent's house in Nantucket. There he makes friends with Cassandra (Demi Moore), an aspiring singer struggling to keep the house left to her by her grandfather from being taken by a greedy and ruthless real-estate developer, with the help of Hoops, George and their island buddies.

One Crazy Summer is one of the funniest 80's movies out there. With the cast of actors that made the era so wonderful, this movie embodies the fun of this decade. Joel Murray, Bobcat Goldthwait, Curtis Armstrong and many others add a "slapstick" support to this One Crazy Summer that makes it a timeless comedy classic.
