The "Every" Man

This song is not an 80's song (which is my absolute favorite decade for music) but it was a very good song in the early 90's.  4 Non-Blondes was formed in 1989 and unfortunately this was their only hit before disbanding the group in '95.

Many of my friends hated this group and I wasn't the biggest fan of them overall myself but I really do like "What's Up".

The "Every" Man

One of the coolest films of the early eighties, Tron was a film ahead of it's time.  A story about a hacker, Kevin Flynn, who finds himself forced into a digital world by the evil Master Control where he joins up with Tron to defeat him.

Good news for TRON fans...TRON LEGACY!

The "Every" Man

Hands down...this is the funniest Super Bowl commercial of 2010.

Kid slaps man who tries to date his mother but worst of all takes his Doritos.

Which one was your favorite?

The "Every" Man

Last month I created a post about a few of my favorite actresses. Well, of course, I couldn't leave out a few of the male actors that I feel are the best out there.

Johnny Depp

Favorite Movies:
** Pirates of the Carribean **
** The Libertine **
** Edward Scissorhands **

My Thoughts:
Can quite easilty fit into nearly any role given to him.

Denzel Washington

Favorite Movies
** Cry Freedom **
** Malcolm X **
** Training Day **

My Thoughts:
Meaningful performer that can open box offices all over.

Daniel Day Lewis

Favorite Movies
** My Left Foot: The Story of Christy Brown **
** Gangs of New York **
** There Will Be Blood **

My  Thoughts:
His commitment to his characters immerses viewers into the world that the writers intended.

The "Every" Man

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am HUGE "Lost" fan.  I could try my best to summarize this epic television series for you. Unfortunately, however, if you haven't been watching, it would take me entirely too long to get you caught up.

However, here's a great catch up video:

I really recommended buying (or at least renting) the previous seasons of Lost to truly get caught up.  It will have you asking all sorts of questions, as you try to figure out why the survivors of Oceanic flight 815 found themselves on a "thought to be" deserted island only to find that they are not alone. Not only are they not alone but there's a major story behind the nature of this island and its original inhabitants.

As I watched the most series premiere of Season 6, which also happens to be the Final Season, a few questions arise.

1) Why do they seem to be in parallel worlds? One in which the explosion of the bomb worked and one where it didn't?
Theory - The island versions of the passengers are caught in a spiritual underworld, living through some sort of lving hell.

2) Why was Desmond on the flight, when he wasn't on the plane originally?
Theory - Desmond was destined to be connected with the passengers of Flight 815 and since the island was destroyed in this

3) On the island, Miles (who can hear the dead) told Sawyer that he heard Juliet, after she was buried, say, "It worked". What did Juliet mean?
Theory - Upon dying, the remaining island dwellers return to the parallel universe where the bomb actually worked.  Another hint to this is, while Juliet was dying in Sawyer's arms, she started to drift and say phrases as if she were in "normal" world. "We should get coffee"..."We can go dutch"...giving way to the idea that she was slowly fading to the real world.

Let me know what you think and what questions you have.

The "Every" Man

I wonder...does anyone think like I do? I think in order to defeat evil you have to understand it.  To conquer fear, you must confront it.

I would love to go back throughout the past and have a conversation with some of the most evil people recorded in history.  I would love to understand why they made their decisions in life and pursued evil as they did with such conviction.

People I would love to meet and one question that I would ask:

Adolf Hitler
What was it that made the you rule with an iron fist, at the expense of countless innocent lives?

Charles Mansion
What was it that made you feel so entitled to take someone elses life.

Idi Amin

Why would you abuse the human rights of the Ugandan people and others and kill hundreds of thousands during your regime?

Joseph Stalin
Do you feel any remorse for the tens of millions that were murdered under your reign?

Who would you like to meet and what would you ask them?
